Payment, Shipping & Returns
Version 1.1 – 12.08.2026
Every Inara piece is made in small numbers and travels a long way to reach you. What follows is how we handle that journey — clearly, so there is nothing left to wonder about.
Payment
How an order begins
Inara pieces are currently offered on enquiry. There is no checkout — instead, there is a conversation. However, in the future we aim to set up a ecommerce option to streamline your payments for you.
Write to us at [info@inarabysneha.com] or message us on [Instagram / WhatsApp] or use our [contact form] on our website, and tell us which piece has caught your eye. We will confirm availability, gemstone details, sizing and any adjustments you may wish to make, and send you a personalised quotation.
We prefer it this way. Fine jewellery deserves a considered pace, and it allows us to tell you exactly what your stone is and where it came from before you decide.
Ways to Pay
Once your quotation is confirmed, you may settle in one of two ways:
Secure payment link. We will send a payment link to your email. It accepts major credit and debit cards and is processed through an encrypted payment gateway. Your card details are never seen or stored by Inara.
Direct bank transfer. We will share our account details on your invoice. Transfers may be made in [Thai Baht (THB) / United States Dollars (USD) or currency of your choice] For international transfers, please note that intermediary and receiving bank charges are borne by the sender — kindly select "OUR" charges where your bank offers the option, so the full invoiced amount reaches us.
terms
Orders are confirmed once payment has cleared in full. Pieces are reserved for [5] days from the date of invoice.
Bespoke and made-to-order commissions require a deposit at design approval, with the balance due before dispatch. The deposit is non-refundable once work has begun, as the piece is made for you alone.
Prices are quoted in [USD]. Orders shipped within Thailand are subject to 7% VAT where applicable.
Prices do not include import duties or taxes levied in your country. Please see Duties & Taxes below.
A note on security
Inara will only ever request payment through an official invoice sent from our registered email address, or through a payment link we send you directly. We will never ask for card details over Instagram, WhatsApp or any messaging platform. If anything about a request seems unfamiliar, please write to us before acting on it.
Shipping
How your piece travels
Every order leaves our atelier in Bangkok fully insured, tracked and requiring a signature on delivery. Pieces are packed in discreet outer packaging with no external marking to indicate their contents, and arrive in the Inara box with the piece's gemstone documentation enclosed.
You will receive tracking details by email on the day of dispatch.
Timings
Ready pieces Dispatched within. [2–5] business days
Made to order [3–6] weeks from confirmation
Bespoke commissions Quoted individually at design stage Within Thailand

business days from dispatch, via [DHL Express / FedEx] Certain gemstones require certification before dispatch, which may add [5–7] days. We will always tell you at the point of order rather than after it.
Cost
Orders over USD 1,000 ship complimentary, fully insured, worldwide.
For orders below this amount, shipping is charged at cost and confirmed on your invoice before payment.
Duties & Taxes
International orders are shipped on a Delivered Duty Unpaid basis. Any import duties, taxes or customs charges levied by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient and are payable directly to the courier or customs authority.
These vary considerably by country, and we are not able to calculate them in advance — your local customs office can advise. We are unable to mark shipments as gifts or declare a value lower than the amount paid.
If a parcel is refused at customs or returned to us as undelivered, any shipping and duty costs incurred will be deducted from your refund.
Addresses
Please check your delivery address carefully before confirming. Once a parcel has been dispatched we are unable to redirect it. We recommend an address where someone will be present to sign, as couriers cannot leave jewellery unattended.
Responsibility for the piece passes to you once it has been signed for at the delivery address.
Returns
We hope you will love your piece. If it is not right, we would rather you tell us.
The window
You may return an Inara piece within 7 days of receiving it, by notifying us in writing within that period. Once we have acknowledged your request, please send the piece back to us within a further [7] days.
Condition
Returned pieces must be:
Unworn, unaltered and in original condition
In the original Inara box and pouch
Accompanied by all gemstone certification, documentation and the original invoice
Sent with the completed returns form we provide
We are unable to accept pieces showing signs of wear, resizing, alteration or damage, and we reserve the right to decline a return that does not meet these conditions. Should this happen, we will contact you and return the piece to you at your cost.
How to Return
Write to [returns@inarabysneha.com] with your order number and the reason for return. We will confirm your return in writing and send full instructions.
Please do not send anything back before receiving this confirmation — an uninsured or unannounced parcel of fine jewellery is at considerable risk, and we cannot accept liability for it.
Return shipping is to be arranged by you, fully insured and tracked, at your cost — [unless the piece is faulty or we have sent the wrong item, in which case we cover it entirely]. The original shipping cost is [not refunded].
Refunds
Once your piece reaches us, it is inspected by our team. Where the return meets the conditions above, your refund will be issued within 15 days of our receiving your notice of return, to the original method of payment. Bank transfers are refunded to the originating account.
What cannot be returned
Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces
Engraved or personalised pieces
Pieces resized or altered at your request
Pieces from which certification or original packaging is missing
Because these are made for one person only, they cannot be offered to another.
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange a piece within the same 7-day window, subject to the same conditions. Where the new piece is of higher value, the difference is payable; where it is of lower value, we will issue a credit note valid for [12] months. Exchanged pieces may not be exchanged again.
Care, Sizing & Repairs
Resizing. One complimentary resize within [6] months of purchase, where the design allows. Some settings — eternity bands, certain stone-set shanks — cannot be resized without compromising the piece, and we will tell you honestly if this is the case.
Our guarantee. Every Inara piece is guaranteed against manufacturing defect for [12] months from the date of purchase. This covers faults in workmanship and setting. It does not extend to accidental damage, loss of stones through impact, or ordinary wear.
Beyond that. We will always look after a piece we have made. Repairs outside the guarantee period are quoted individually — write to us and we will take care of it.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or your situation sits outside what is written, please write to us at [hello@inarabysneha.com]. A person will answer.
